HELLO,
FLOWER
LOVERS

Rooted in the shared vision of Gustavo Camacho and Tiago Bettencourt, BOSQUE has grown since 2018 as a studio dedicated to exploring the narrative potential of Floral Design. With origins in Madeira Island and a creative base in Lisbon, Portugal, our studio develops work that extends across national borders and into diverse contexts.

Our approach is grounded in the raw, structural qualities of Nature: the density of woodland growth, the irregularity of branches, the tension within stems, and the tactile textures of organic materials. These robust, elemental forms coexist with the inherent fragility and ephemeral delicacy of flowers. This interplay between the crude and the fragile, the enduring and the transient, stands at the core of our creative process and informs the sculptural balance present in our compositions.

Influenced by the principles of Ikebana and Biophilic Design, BOSQUE has cultivated a distinct artistic identity, characterised by precision, restraint, and a focus on spatial composition. We design bespoke concepts and craft singular, immersive floral experiences, each shaped by a deep respect for material integrity and the expressive potential of natural elements.

GREEN FLORISTS

As caretakers and protectors of what inspires us – Nature – we work towards juxtaposing this greater force with our flower designs in the most organic way. It is relevant to note that, because we talk about Nature as the main source of inspiration for our craft, it is crucial to be transparent and explore the subject and practice of sustainability in our business.
In the flower industry, this last subject is still a relatively recent and complex term, and we are still beginning to acknowledge its importance and integral meaning.

Considering the state of our planet, behaviours such as reducing our footprint as florists and raising awareness to this matter, among our customers and collaborators, are some of our main priorities.
As responsible florists, banning flower foam, which is very harmful to the environment, is not enough. We also need to prioritise the use of national flowers, wildflowers and flowers from small local growers.

Currently, although we are thankfully seeing a rise in offers from small and medium national flower suppliers, we are aware that these are the first but right steps in the sense of improving our industry and consequently promoting environmental and economical sustainability.
We will be happy to discuss this matter with all our customers and partners so that together we can celebrate in a green way.
